As AIFFP’s Chief Investment Officer you will lead diverse teams of sectoral and policy experts across telecommunications, energy, transport (particularly ports and aviation) and private sector financing to originate and deliver transformational infrastructure across the Pacific and Timor Leste. Your work will make a lasting difference in the development trajectory of the region and to Australia’s relationships with its partners.
You will have highly developed project management and infrastructure financing skills, preferably in sovereign development finance, and ideally in the Pacific and East Timor. You will have the demonstrated ability to ensure AIFFP investments deliver climate resilient outcomes that meet ambitious environmental and social safeguards, including through approaches that generate local jobs and that support gender, disability and social inclusion.
You will bring the ability to think strategically while operating at pace and with a clear understanding of the regional context within which AIFFP works.
You will be skilled in developing trusted relationships with government, industry and the community, both in Australia and across the Pacific.
You will be a positive and inclusive leader, with a track record of leading diverse teams to high performance, including hybrid teams that span a range of technical specialties and encompass both remote and in-office colleagues.
