Teacher Assistant (Primary)
The successful applicant will work under the general supervision and guidance of the classroom teacher to perform tasks that achieve clearly defined outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the teaching and learning of students through assisting the teacher in delivering planned education programs.
* Encourage a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Selection Criteria:
1. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain close working relationships with families, local community stakeholders, and other networks.
2. Ability to show initiative, work independently, and contribute actively to a dynamic team environment.
3. Participation in Co-curricular activities.
4. Competency in basic IT skills.
5. Maintaining confidentiality and upholding the Catholic ethos and traditions of the College.
Requirements:
1. Current Working with Children Check WA.
2. Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.
3. Unrestricted WA 'C' class drivers' license.
