About the Role
As a Management Accountant, you will report directly to the Finance Manager and work closely with an Assistant Accountant, Financial Accountant, and Accounts Payable Officer. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Preparing and reporting monthly financial results in accordance with company deadlines
* Ensuring job costing is completed and reported by the end of each month
* Adhering to approved capital expenditure budgets and explaining any variations in management reports
* Finalizing and presenting end-of-year statutory accounts for review
* Tracking and reviewing expenditures against set budgets and providing budget inconsistency reports
* Managing and maintaining the fixed assets register
You will be responsible for other general business and finance administration tasks as required.

Skill & Experience
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* 2-3 years of experience as a Management Accountant, preferably in a medium-sized commercial construction business
* High-level attention to detail and organization skills
* Proficiency in MYOB and Cheops accounting software
