Opportunity for a payroll officer with experience in ichris/chris21 to join a large organization based in the city. This is a busy full time role. Position Overview: As a Payroll Officer, you will play a vital role within a close-knit team, working alongside other payroll officers and reporting to a payroll supervisor. Your main responsibility will be to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll for your assigned Business Unit. Key Responsibilities: Process approved timesheets and input data into the payroll system. Apply a strong understanding of Enterprise Agreements (EAs) and Awards to accurately process allowances, overtime, and other payroll codes. Generate wage reports and obtain necessary approvals. Make adjustments and corrections to ensure payroll aligns with EA/Award conditions. Set up new employees and update information for existing employees in the payroll system. Prepare and process approved termination payments. Respond to inquiries from site locations. Conduct manual payment calculations as needed. Process approved redundancy payments and deductions, including child support. Perform any other tasks as assigned.
