OSHC Coordinator – Holiday Program

Staines Memorial College is looking for applicants for an OSHC Coordinator for Holiday Care, to play, teach, and take care of children in a safe learning environment in Outside School Hours Care.
The Role
* Holiday Care (up to 8 hours per day, Monday – Friday, during Term Breaks)
* Paid administrative time and regular training meetings.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for the day-to-day management of the service Holiday Program
* Develop, plan, and deliver daily quality activities for children that are safe, fun, stimulating, and carry educational value.
* Strong focus on child safety, supervision, and mandatory reporting.
* Prepare and serve healthy food options.
* Create an engaging and happy environment for children.
* Building meaningful connections with staff, students and families of the College community.
Applicants must be:
* an Australian Citizen or
* a permanent resident or
* have an appropriate permit to work in Australia
Requirements
Successful Applicants will have completed, or studying towards a Certificate IV, Diploma or Bachelors in Children’s Services, Early Childhood, School Aged Care or equivalent, and hold a current Employee Working With Children Check (Blue Card). Only applicants who complete the application form will be considered. Please include 3 referees, one of whom is your present Christian minister.

Staines Memorial College is a non-denominational Christian College situated in the western suburbs between Brisbane and Ipswich. We cater for children from Kindergarten to Year 12 from a variety of Christian backgrounds and traditions. We also cater for families who, though not necessarily Christian themselves, desire a Christian school culture and educational experience for their children. All staff at the College are committed followers of Jesus from a variety of denominational backgrounds, selected for their professional competence as well as their sense of calling to the ministry of a Christian School.
