The Role The Financial Administrator will play a crucial role in our day-to-day financial operations and contribute to strategic financial planning.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and monitor budgets in consultation with management to drive business performance.
Prepare and analyse monthly financial statements, including income and balance sheets, to forecast the company's financial position.
Ensure financial activities align with regulatory standards and company policies.
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, manage reconciliations, and support month-end processes.
Process payroll and ensure timely and accurate BAS, IAS, and other tax filings.
Assist with documentation and reporting for internal audits, and provide office administrative support, including managing office supplies and sorting mail.
Manage supplier relationships, handle invoice queries, reconcile accounts, and maintain updated vendor records.
Collect and prepare monthly sales reports and assist with the preparation of annual budgets and outgoings audits.
Monitor and update tenant public liability insurance records in the system to ensure compliance and proper documentation.
Provide ongoing support to the finance team and assist with special projects as required.
About You Qualifications : Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience : 3+ years in finance administration, preferably within the construction or trades sector.
Technical Skills : Proficiency in Xero/Employment Hero Payroll or similar accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel in particular).
Attention to Detail : High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with strong problem-solving skills.
Communication Skills : Clear and effective communicator, able to collaborate across teams and build strong relationships.
