PGC Training are seeking applications for our Host Employer based in Henderson, from enthusiastic, motivated 3rd Year Apprentices, with a great work attitude, looking to continue their career as an Automotive Technician - Heavy Mobile Equipment/HD Fitter.
The Automotive Technician (Heavy Mobile Equipment) apprenticeship is a 42 to 48-month hands-on program that combines on-the-job and off-the-job training. Throughout the duration of the apprenticeship, you will work under the guidance of experienced and qualified Automotive Technicians/HD Fitters in the workplace and also undertake classroom-based and practical training and assessments at a Registered Training Organisation.

About You
1. Good communication, literacy and numeracy skills
2. Reliable, flexible and honest.
3. Ability to work as part of a team
4. Hold a Valid 'C' Class Drivers Licence and own reliable transport
5. A positive attitude - you will learn the skills and gain experience
6. Must be eligible to work in Australia (Australian citizen or permanent resident)
7. Minimum C grade in Year 10 Maths and English (or equivalent)
8. Strong commitment to safe work practices, policies and procedures
9. Ability to pass a pre-employment medical exam, including a drug and alcohol screen
10. Must have completed at least 2nd year of Automotive Technician - Heavy Mobile Equipment apprenticeship
11. Full time employment contract - earn while you learn (paid weekly)
12. Completion of a Nationally Recognised Qualification (AUR31220 Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology (Mobile Plant Equipment))
13. Training costs covered by PGC Training
14. Mentoring, guidance and support from a PGC Field Officer
