RDA Alice Springs Inc (RDAAS) is seeking a dedicated Part-time Centre Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our centre in the vibrant town of Alice Springs, Northern Territory. As the Centre Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our facility, strategic direction and the overall management of the activities and services of RDA Alice Springs along with providing leadership to a small team.
What you'll be doing Manage the overall operations and administration of the centre, including budgeting and staffing Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the centre's services and engagement Build and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders, partners, and funding bodies Oversee the coordination of various events, workshops, and activities hosted at the centre Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Manage and supervise a small team of staff and volunteers Monitor and report on the centre's performance and outcomes What we're looking for Proven experience in a similar not-for-profit management role Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively Knowledge of the community services sector and an understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by regional and remote communities Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, as well as foster a positive and collaborative work environment Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting and reporting Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field (e.g., community development, social services, or business management) What we offer Flexible part-time working arrangements with the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our centre. 24 hours per week between Monday and Friday.
