Job Responsibilities:Develop and implement strategic plans for the journal portfolio, drive growth in journal content, impact metrics, and stakeholder satisfaction while ensuring editorial efficiency and operational success.Monitor and enhance editorial, production, and publishing workflows to maintain high-quality standards and operational efficiency.Oversee editorial budgets and forecast article growth to ensure financial and operational success.Build and maintain strong relationships with editors, authors, societies, and global research communities to support journal operations and attract high-quality submissions.Plan and execute promotional activities to expand the influence of journals and strengthen the publisher's brand image.Develop and strengthen the journal team by identifying recruitment needs, providing training, and supervising team members to ensure efficient operations and support journal growth.Qualifications:Possess a Ph.D. in STEM disciplines from a reputable overseas university with a foundational understanding of the academic publishing landscape, including editorial processes, peer review, and production workflows; candidates with a Master's degree and at least 2 years of experience in academic publishing will also be considered.Excellent communication skills and active participation in domestic and international academic exchange activities.Proficiency in using Office and picking up editorial systems rapidly.Possess a proactive work attitude, strong problem analysis, and problem-solving abilities.Have a pioneering spirit, innovative thinking, the ability for forward-looking analysis, and possess strong self-drive and execution abilities.Excellent interpersonal skills, business negotiation skills, and multitasking abilities.Must be able to work in Melbourne full-time.Seniority Level:DirectorEmployment Type:Full-timeJob Function:Marketing, Public Relations, and Writing/EditingIndustries:Internet Publishing
