About the Role:
Wanyarra is a dedicated 20-bed Mental Health Inpatient Unit committed to providing compassionate, patient-centred care for individuals experiencing acute mental health challenges. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you’ll contribute to a supportive, recovery-focused environment that prioritizes patient well-being. The unit recently underwent an upgrade, introducing modern facilities and enhanced services to ensure the highest quality care. With a focus on therapeutic interventions and individualized treatment plans, Wanyarra is an ideal place for those passionate about mental health nursing.
As a Psychiatric Enrolled Nurse in Wanyarra, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients within the inpatient unit. You will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to implement care plans, support patients through their recovery journey, and ensure a safe, respectful environment. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain or build on experience in mental health nursing, offering hands-on exposure to diverse clinical situations and patient needs.

The successful candidate will have:
* A Diploma of Nursing or equivalent qualification, with current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA.
* Experience or a keen interest in mental health nursing, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
* A commitment to continuous learning and professional development, particularly in mental health settings.
