We're seeking a hard-working individual to join our client's Asset Management and Maintenance team, ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our Local Council.
Position Objective: As a key member of the Asset Management and Maintenance team, you'll be responsible for litter collection, road maintenance, and ensuring the overall quality of public spaces in line with council standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform litter removal from roads, footpaths, drains, and other public areas.
* Operate vehicles, cranes, and small plant equipment safely and efficiently.
* Report and address maintenance issues like potholes and spills.
* Provide traffic control for various crews when necessary.
* Monitor and maintain vehicle and crane upkeep.
* Actively contribute to reducing illegal dumping and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
* Adhere to health and safety guidelines, ensuring safe operations at all times.
* Take pride in enhancing the appearance of the municipality.
What We're Looking For:
* A current Victorian Driver's Licence (including truck up to 13.9T),
* experience in litter collection or outdoor works
* Strong communication skills
* The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

This is a casual 1-month assignment, with the possibility of extension at an hourly rate of $35.94
