The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our NSW Allied Health team in the Sutherland Shire. This is a great opportunity for you to have variety in your caseload which will allow you to utilise your skills and grow as a health professional. We have part-time (0.6 FTE) parental leave contract for 12 months starting in December with the possibility of extending.
With a focus on promoting health and wellbeing by enabling people to participate in the everyday, you will work with a range of clients, visiting their homes, supporting and guiding them to achieve their goals and ultimately to help them live their best lives. We provide services across the following packages and programs:
1. Private services: supporting individuals with self-identified needs.
2. Rehab in the home program: focusing on post-orthopaedic surgery
3. Hospital in the Home program: supporting clients after hospitalization, including general surgeries
4. Home Care Package clients: supporting those in our community who wish to remain independent at home
5. Residential aged care facilities: develop, implement, and manage programs
About you
You are a fully AHPRA registered Physiotherapist, with a minimum 1 years’ experience, ideally within a community setting and is comfortable working independently.
As a mobile Community Physio, you will need to be comfortable travelling to our clients located on the Sutherland Shire and as such provide your own vehicle (kilometre reimbursement provided for this travel).
