Job Title: Chef
We provide multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. Our workplace support is vital for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world.
The Role:
* Work collaboratively with a team of Chefs, Kitchen Utilities and Dining Room employees
* Buffet style bulk cooking for Breakfast and Crib Lunch, or Dinner and Desserts
* Ensure OH&S compliance, adhering to safe work practices and food handling procedures
* Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, infection control and cleanliness in accordance with Compass standards
* Assist Head Chefs in managing team performance and employee development
Requirements:
* Chef Qualifications - Cert III in Commercial Cookery (min)
* Bulk Catering Experience
* Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations, including experience in menu writing, rostering and cost control's.
* Experience with hygienic work practices and appropriate HACCP guidelines
* Essential: Must have valid Drivers Licence
