The Role
The Head of Corporate Accounting & Controls is a key finance leadership role, owning and delivering the objectives of the corporate reporting function, day to day financial accounting, controls and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to
* Ownership of general ledgers and corporate and consolidated results
* Partner B/U to ensure accounting is complete, accurate and efficient, adhering to internal control policies.
* Contribute to the annual group budgeting process, including building annual corporate cost base, capital expenditure budget and site-based expenses.
* Drive the development and improvement of cost and benefits tracking of the organisation’s strategic initiatives.
* Administer capital expenditure approval process and drive accurate and value-add reporting of different types of capex.
* Play a key role in leading an enhanced control environment, compliance and testing.
* Manage and motivate direct reports to achieve high standards, set KPIs, annual performance reviews etc.

To be successful in the role, you’ll have the following skills/experience:
* CA/CPA qualification
* Deep financial controls experience and skills, preferably in a complex operating environment.
* Robust internal controls and compliance understanding.
* Proven team leadership and people development experience.
* Clear and articulate executive level presentation skills.
* Strong systems and process improvement skills with experience working with data analytics.
* Demonstrates resilience and determination in a changing environment.
