Job Description
The Pastry Chef de Partie is a vital member of our kitchen team, responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen and ensuring the preparation and delivery of high-quality dishes.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
* Prepare and present menu items with variety and flair, within specified cost margins.
* Prepare and execute high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods in line with Mondrian's culinary vision.
* Assist in menu development, bringing creativity and innovation to pastry offerings.
* Maintain consistency and excellence in presentation, taste, and texture.
* Maintain adherence to food safety standards at all times.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve departmental goals.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or similar role in a luxury hotel, commercial kitchen, or restaurant.
* Trade Qualified Chef with a specialty in pastry.
* Formal culinary training with a specialty in pastry arts.
* Possession of valid Australian Working Rights.
