Job Description
Spread Joy, by joining our Volunteer Team!
We are seeking a friendly volunteer to visit our elderly client living in Darlinghurst. She has a love of music, spending time practising her flute, reading, playing chess and bridge. She would enjoy meeting someone to visit and have a chat over a cuppa at home or head out for a café visit.
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
Requirements
1. 18 years or older
2. National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare
3. Ideally you'll be available one hour per week for 6 months or longer. We'd be happy to chat with you about a suitable day and time during the week, between the hours of 9am-5pm for a 30 minute visit weekly or fortnightly.
