Ventia is looking to engage a Logistics Coordinator to work closely alongside the Telecoms team assigned to install the radio telescopes on the internationally acclaimed Square Kilometre Array Observatory (SKAO) Project.
This is a Full Time Fly in Fly Out position working a 14 day on / 7 day off roster, with meals and accommodation provided. The project site is based in Western Australia, 800 kilometres north of Perth.
About the role:
1. Critical inspection and receipt of materials using VPL procedures
2. Timely coordination and delivery of materials accurately labelled, and all pick / bins located
3. Efficient planning of storage and locations of materials within the warehouse / yard
4. Ensuring all personal actions are in line with the SH&E procedures and legislative requirements
5. Coordinating and deliver items to site to ensure the sub-contractors can keep the daily work face moving forward
About you:
6. Logistics and distribution experience within the telecommunications industry preferable
7. Strong communication, attention to detail, numeracy, and written skills
8. Forklift, MC, CV/HIAB Licences
9. Dogman/Riggers Ticket
10. Use of computer-based stock management systems (SAP experience, desirable)
