About the Role
In line with the Group score card to “Continue to improve our project delivery capability, with tighter linkages between strategy and funding, clearer goals and milestones, and faster, more consistent delivery of target outcomes “this role will be responsible for the prioritisation, triage, planning and delivery of work requests initiated from within and outside of the Financial Crime portfolio.
This role will ensure the strategic goals for the Financial Crime Portfolio are met and benefits from the work request are well articulated and owned.
As a senior member of the Financial Crime Delivery team, this role requires forward thinking, working collaboratively across the portfolio and relevant business areas and the ability to coach & inspire others to ensure a strong and mature delivery culture with a focus on compliance and governance.

What will your day look like?
This role is accountable for:
1. Prioritisation – Maintaining the Portfolio Backlog and effectively prioritising the allocation of delivery team members to ensure effective and efficient delivery of FCP change related to strategic initiatives and BAU change.
2. Triaging of new work requests, to determine and document all impacts.
3. Planning – Coordinating the roadmap of EPICs in conjunction with technology partners to commit to deliverables that will be delivered by the Portfolio over a period of time ensuring impact to the portfolio is defined, understood and agreed.
4. Contributing to and driving Delivery Excellence to increase the delivery capability within the Delivery team and within the Financial crime Portfolio.
5. Promotion and role modelling of delivery excellence best practices and create learning opportunities and define best practice for direct reports.
6. Identifying and understanding the business problem and the impact of the proposed solution on the organisation's operations.
7. Proactively identifying, supporting and driving opportunities for change
8. Ensuring adherence to the FCP Delivery framework and the ANZ delivery and governance framework
9. Leveraging business analysis skills to define and articulate business and customer needs and drivers to inform decision making, assess and design solution outcomes & identify capability gaps (people, process and technological).
10. Management of effective and efficient delivery and managing risks, issues and dependencies
11. Stakeholder management including management of project stakeholders across FCP, divisions and senior staff.
12. Leading and delivering initiatives E2E – including but not limited to; requirements gathering, solution design, project planning, project governance, business implementation activities and executing risk in change processes.
13. Understanding of current and prospective customer needs and expectations.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
14. Proven track record in designing and delivering complex initiatives end to end.
15. Equivalent experience of at least 10+ years in project delivery, governance and change management.
16. Experience in business change and project management disciplines, continuous improvement and agile methodologies.
17. Strong stakeholder management skills – including Exco, Divisional delivery teams, technology partners and internal stakeholders.
18. Excellent communication skills
19. Comfortable to ‘roll up the sleeves’ and work hands-on, collaboratively with passion and energy as a key member of a fast-paced quick-thinking team.
20. Leadership skills – including direct management of 3-6 direct reports (up to 10-15 indirect reports)
21. Analytical, strong ability to influence without direct authority and demonstrated learning agility to digest complex and large information sets to draw insights, conclusions and actions.
22. Strong awareness of banking and finance industry trends and threats domestically and internationally.
23. Proactive attitude to undertake responsibilities that add value, ability to simplify practises, and drive efficiency.
