Climate Zero makes it easy for organisations of any size to accurately measure and report on emissions across Scope 1, 2 and 3.About the roleYou'll join a small collaborative team where, with the support of your peers, you'll be responsible for developing products, adding new features, paying down tech debt, and ensuring code works seamlessly in production.Your work will be focussed on our carbon accounting software. The application is a full-stack Next.js 13 project built with TypeScript. It uses a PostgreSQL database managed through Prisma ORM for database interaction.What does this entail?Be trained in climate science and carbon accounting methodology.Work on UX improvements across our software.Build a new component or feature to enhance our product offering.Optimise the performance of database queries.Create a new reporting function to give customers the ability to interrogate their data.Develop an API integration with third party software.Participate in new product scoping sessions.Review team members' code and provide constructive feedback.What we're looking forYou're passionate about using your skills to solve problems and have high technical competence. You ship code and see it through to production, working independently while managing your own time.We're looking for an experienced full-stack engineer with experience building new products with React, ideally within a startup environment.
