Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated individual for a Cleaning Position at a meat processing factory in Kingaroy, QLD. This is a night shift position with the following details:
* Start date: ASAP
* Shift times: Monday to Friday, 10pm - 4:30am (may be required to work overtime)
* Pay: $38.71 per hour (Night Shift Level 1 Rate), paid as per the Cleaning Services Award "MA000022"
* Type: Casual
Responsibilities:
* Cleaning the factory environment, which includes standing for the entirety of the shift (6-8 hours)
* Physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing
* Holding a hose for an extended period of time
Physical Requirements:
* Frequently and repetitively squat and extend arms
* Frequently and repetitively bend, crouch, twist, and kneel
* Carry chemical drums weighing up to 25kg
* Carry industrial hoses weighing up to 25kg
Environmental Factors:
* Hot and cold conditions
* Steamy environment
* Working at heights
* Working in confined spaces
* Use of chemicals
* Wet and slippery surfaces
