The General Manager Corporate Services will oversee finance, grants management, marketing and communications and administration functions, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.Responsible to the Group Chief Executive Officer and Board, the key responsibilities of this role will include:Leadership and StrategyDevelopment and implementation of strategies for the Corporate Services unit to support the strategic objectives.Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the Corporate Services team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.Act as a trusted advisor to the organisation on matters relating to corporate services.Financial ManagementOversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue generation.Manage relationships with external auditors, ensuring successful audits and addressing findings.Grants ManagementOversee the identification, application, management, and reporting of grants to ensure compliance with funding agreements and alignment with organizational goals.Provide strategic oversight for the effective use of grant funding and ensure transparent and accurate reporting to stakeholders.Governance and ComplianceEnsure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.Provide regular reports to the CEO and Board on the performance and risks of the Corporate Services unit.What You Will BringChartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) qualificationTertiary qualification in finance, business administration, or a related field.Proven experience in developing and implementing strategic goalsStrong knowledge of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.Knowledge of Human Resources, IT, Communications and Marketing and Administrative Systems.Demonstrated experience in grants management, including reporting and compliance.Solid understanding of governance, risk management, and compliance requirements.What’s On OfferThis is an opportunity to be part of a purpose driven organisation dedicated to empowering First Nations communities.
