Key Requirements To be successful in the Service Technician role, you will need: • Relevant Qualifications: A trade certificate or technical diploma in a related field. • Experience: Proven experience as a technician, ideally in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. • Technical Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, parts, and equipment operation manuals. • Problem-Solving Skills: A technical mindset with the capacity to diagnose issues and provide efficient solutions. • Customer Service Abilities: Strong interpersonal skills to manage customer interactions and resolve inquiries effectively. • Time Management: Exceptional ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure to minimise downtime for clients. • Versatility: Willingness to undertake a variety of tasks, including preventative maintenance, assembly, repair, and after-hours support when required. • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication for interaction with customers, suppliers, and team members. • Commitment to Standards: Adherence to procedures and safety protocols to ensure all work is performed to professional and warrantable standards. • Flexibility and Mobility: Ability to travel as required to perform service activities at customer locations or other sites. • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in CRMs tools (desirable).
