The Location
The iconic Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort Gold Coast is surrounded by lush tropical gardens and sparkling blue lagoons and offers 295 guest rooms and suites, restaurants, bars and over 14 meeting venues, all in an absolute beachfront environment.
The Role
Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, this role is responsible for the marketing and eCommerce strategy of the hotel providing direct marketing plans and targeted campaigns to drive revenue, increase market share, and strengthen brand awareness.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
9. Drive online revenue through effective marketing and eCommerce activity
10. Develop and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and key OTA market managers
11. Improve visibility on all OTA sites via content, ranking and promotion
12. Implement strategies to increase direct marketing and loyalty for return guests
13. Effective control and execution of the digital marketing expenses
14. Manage Consumer Generated Content strategy
15. Manage SEM and SEO campaigns in conjunction with Marriott Digital Strategy
16. Drive social media strategy
17. Drive offline marketing strategy as needed
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you will need:
18. Previous experience as a Marketing Manager, similar
19. Comprehensive experience across all areas of marketing including digital
20. Strong computer skills including website design experience
21. A high level of efficiency and organisation
22. Attention to detail
23. A proactive approach to executing marketing plans
24. The ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment
The ideal candidate will have previous hospitality marketing experience, however, general marketing and online marketing experience will also be highly regarded.
