Clinical Nurse or Psychologist or Social Worker or Occupational Therapist (Mental Health Clinician), Queensland Health Part time, Full time, Permanent, Casual/Temporary An exciting opportunity exists for a Clinical Nurse or Psychologist or Social Worker or Occupational Therapist (Mental Health Clinician) to deliver clinical services as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, to stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health, in accordance with the goals, policies and requirements of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service.Clinicians within Evolve work as a team to meet clinical demand in keeping with Clinical Prioritisation Document.Staff may be required to work across other clinical services within Mental Health and Specialised Services as required to assist in meeting patient care needs, managing leave cover, and succession planning of staff.Staff may be required to rotate across Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service as per Allied Health Rotation Guidelines.Key Responsibilities include: Demonstrate competent knowledge, expertise and skill in the provision of Psychology/Social Work/Occupational Therapy services commensurate with level of experience in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards, existing evidence-based practice and established clinical protocols.For complex or novel cases, you will seek direction from clinical seniors as appropriate.Apply clinical judgement to more complex clinical decision making under the clinical practice supervision or professional guidance of a more senior clinician.Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health Award) – State 2015 – Generic Level Statements Nurse Grade 6, Band 1 and the Queensland Public Service values.Understand your broad responsibilities for safety and quality in healthcare, actively participate in continuous quality and safety improvement activities within the workplace and notify a relevant clinical or non-clinical responsible officer when concerns exist about workplace or patient safety.
