genU is looking for a Second in Charge Team Leader to provide leadership and operational management to our shared supported accommodation homes and home team leader, ensuring an empowering and enabling environment for people with disabilities, whilst still maximising opportunities for the attainment of personal goals and lifestyles that are valued by the wider community.
Key responsibilities
1. Proactively promote a welcoming, home-like environment for residents and a strong work culture for staff.
2. Ensure person-centred approach is embedded within the facilities culture.
3. Assist and undertake program planning and monitoring.
4. Assist with and develop, review and accurately maintain all resident care/support plans in conjunction with residents, families and other service providers.
5. Implement a partnership in care approach to enable optimal health and wellbeing for residents.
6. Assist with team leadership and mentoring to house staff.
About you
We are looking for caring and empathetic individuals who:
1. Experience delivering services in the disability industry, complex care experience is preferred.
2. Proficient computer skills including database systems and MS Office suite.
3. Strong analytical skills.
4. Experience leading and managing a team of diverse staff.
5. Demonstrated ability to provide person-centred active supports for residents.

Requirements
To be eligible, you must have or be willing to complete:
* Certificate IV in Disability.
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
* Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
* Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
* A current and valid Driver's License.
* First Aid and CPR training within 12 months of currency.
