Ferrycarrig have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our team.
The successful candidate will manage a number of Water Infrastructure Projects in the Sydney Metro Area .

Ferrycarrig has made a significant contribution to some of Sydney's largest and most significant infrastructure projects delivered in recent years, including Sydney Light Rail, Parramatta Light Rail, Sydney Metro, Western Sydney Airport, and the New Sydney Fish Markets.
What you will be doing The Senior Project Manager will oversee 3-4 project delivery teams including Project Managers, Engineers, Supervisors and Work crews.
They will be looking after around 20-40 personnel depending on the projects.
You will be responsible to develop your team to successfully manage their projects from tender through to completion of project and act as the clients point of contact for the management of contracts.
The candidate will also need to be able to work with blue collar staff and instil strong project management principles with project team to ensure the company self-perform and self-deliver promise is maintained, and our brand promise is upheld across all of our projects as well as the downstream management of our subcontractors and suppliers.
The role will require strong leadership in the health and safety system implemented across the projects as well as good quality workmanship in the delivery of the project and ensure that repeat work is targeted with our core customers.
Responsible for maintaining cashflow and ensuring that resources are kept as even as possible throughout the planning phase.
Daily and weekly site meetings are held with accurate programming and resource communication for all projects.
Complete review of project managers/ Senior Project Engineers monthly reports through coins and ensure that the projects are achieving tender margin and when issues in delivery arise that action is taken to mitigate these Arrange meetings with key stakeholders and identify business opportunities within your sector whilst also contributing to the companies strategic targets.
Support the project manager in their role for planning high risk works, review design and work with other departments in the company to ensure project teams are provided what is needed to complete the projects safely.
Is this job for me You must be degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
You need to have at least 10 years of working experience in construction with a minimum of 7 years' experience in the water infrastructure space, delivering complex water and sewer works including connections.
Will need to have 5 years' experience working in NSW.
NEC contract experience is required.
You need to have experience working for a principal contractor.
Must have previous experience managing subcontractors and self-perform contractors to the Sydney water accreditation for W1,W2, W3, S1, S2.
Technical experience in Sewer/Water projects for design clash and constructability.
Design and Construct experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Wet wells, treatment plant, managing of mechanical and electrical fit out on previous Sydney water treatment plants.
