What’s the role?
10. Deliver culturally appropriate services, including individual, couple and family counselling
11. Facilitate group work, community awareness and service promotion activities
12. Provide information and supported referrals to people and families where appropriate
13. Adhere to contractual requirements, funding and program guidelines, associated work plans, performance standards and professional codes of conduct
14. Complete documentation including case notes, client records and data collection in a professional and timely manner
Is this the right role for you?
15. Higher education (tertiary) qualifications in social science discipline such as Psychology, Social Work or Counselling
16. Eligibility for membership/ credentialing with relevant professional/ registration body
17. Counselling experience in relevant field along with demonstrated interest in and commitment to working with children, adolescents and adults in a child & family approach
18. Maintain registration with professional associations such as AHPRA, the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) or Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
19. Demonstrated commitment to child and family focus principles of service delivery
20. Demonstrated teamwork skills, resilience, ability to multitask and work under pressure and a commitment to a productive, cooperative and friendly workplace
may be able to offer to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
