In this role, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring the quality and reliability of our software systems. You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, quality assurance experts, business analysts, and project managers. By designing, executing, and analyzing tests, you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality software that meets the needs of our users. A Day in the Life of a Test Analyst at UTS Conduct rigorous testing across platforms (functional, security, performance, integration, and cross-platform) to identify and address issues early in development. Develop, execute, and maintain test cases, plans, and suites using testing tools to ensure comprehensive coverage and efficient testing. Proactively identify, report, and track bugs, working with the team to resolve issues and minimize impact. Create and maintain automation frameworks to accelerate testing processes and increase productivity. Collaborate with business users, analysts, and developers to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and ensure alignment on testing priorities and strategies. Drive the analysis, planning, and execution of UAT designs and cases, facilitating rigorous quality assurance practices. Continuously improve testing processes, adapt to changing requirements, and stay updated on emerging testing methodologies and tools. What You’ll Need to Succeed Relevant tertiary qualification and relevant experience; Or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of education, training, and/or experience. Proven experience in test case execution, understanding functional requirements, and active participation in requirements reviews. Proficiency in tools like Confluence, and JIRA for test case development and execution. Strong problem-solving skills for analyzing complex requirements and devising effective test cases. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships and presenting solutions. Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development life cycles. Efficient time management, organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Remuneration & Benefits Base salary range: $104,251 to $115,327 (HEW7).
