The successful applicant will be a flexible classroom practitioner with some proven success as a casual teacher. This employment opportunity is aimed at providing both the students and the successful applicant with continuity and alignment with the particular educational direction of one school over a block of time while providing a ready supply of casual relief. The role of Classroom Teacher exists to support growth in faith and improvement in learning so that students may reach their full potential. ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church. Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4 L. Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning. Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning in KLA(s). Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning. Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents /carers and the wider school community. QUALIFICATIONS Appropriate qualifications for teaching nominated Key Learning Area (s). Level B Accreditation in accordance with To Work, Teach and Lead policy or a commitment to gain level within the first 5 years of employment with CEDo W. GENERAL CAPABILITIES Well-developed interpersonal skills. Well-developed oral and written communication skills. Well-developed organisational skills. Demonstrated ability to meet deadline.
