You will undertake a Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication), gaining hands-on experience and mentoring from our highly skilled professionals. This 4-year apprenticeship will equip you with the skills needed to become a qualified Boilermaker Welder.

What you will learn as an Apprentice Boilermaker Welder
- The opportunity to begin your career with an industry leading global company in mining equipment manufacturing
- Acquire skills and expertise needed for a successful career as a Boilermaker Welder
- You will have the chance to work on various projects, including the manufacture of new mining excavator bucket, repair mining excavator buckets and excavator attachments
- Learn how to interpret technical drawings and operate to internationally recognized standards
- You will also gain knowledge and hands-on experience in different welding process’ include flux core, solid wire, sub merged arc and use carbon arc gouging
- Opportunity to work on a large range of carbon steel plate thickness’ from 10mm – 140mm
- Learn how to safely operate plant and mobile equipment
About you
- Passion for learning new things, enthusiasm, sense of pride, high attention to detail
- Positive attitude, problem solver and a high commitment to safety
- Driver’s License and access to transport to and from the facility
- Completed year 11 before January 2025
- Full working rights in Australia
- Certificate II or pre-apprenticeship course in a relevant field (highly desirable)
