We are seeking a person to join a team responsible for the maintenance and replacement of council bins in the Northern and Western Suburbs.Client DetailsOur client has continued to grow in size, securing new contracts with new local shires and councils in 2024.
They are now in need of a new team member to expand the team of driver/ labourers to assist with the repairs and replacements of residential waste bins.DescriptionOperating a 2 tonne light Rigid truck you will start your day at the depot to organise your daily runs.
From there you will go to residential homes to replace parts on damaged council bins or to replace the entire bin.On your daily runs you will be responsible for replacing broken or damaged wheels and lids as well as replacing bins.
Once you have completed your day you will return to the depot to load the truck for the following day.This is a role where you will be exposed to the elements daily, and you need to be prepared to get dirty as you are repairing and handling residential council waste bins.ProfileTo be considered you must Be prepared to work autonomously.Be organised and able to arrange your runs for each day.Can use basic hand and powered tools.Be prepared to work daily with council waste bins.Work with both navigation and data bases to complete the daily runs and reports.Have full work rightsJob OfferIn return you will be rewarded with an on-going role where you will be led by supportive management team.
