Job Description
* Bring credit risk and model risk expertise to clients
* Lead high performing teams to support the CRO agenda
* Bring significant experience in credit risk and model risk management
* Leverage and support our breadth of experience, global resources and superior assets
* Contribution to Accenture’s go to market, strategy, methodology and assets
* Form deep relationships with Accenture's clients and propose appropriate solutions and propositions
Key responsibilities
* Shape and lead project teams in credit risk and model risk management, including risk and compliance operating models, change management, process re-engineering, regulatory compliance, internal controls review, policies and procedures, monitoring, corporate governance and reporting
* Bring thought leadership and perspectives to client's business units, including Enterprise Risk Management, IT, Internal, Legal, Strategic Planning, Risk Analytics, Front Office, Middle Office and Back Office
* Lead the development of new intellectual capital for Accenture's Risk & Compliance service line, support development of thought leadership, and assist in publishing articles in industry periodicals
Job Qualifications
To be successful you will have:
* Experience within a Management Consulting firm (big 4 or assurance), risk consulting and/or banking is essential
* Minimum 10 + years of work experience in advisory services to Financial Services on Risk Management in any of the areas below:
o Credit Risk
o Model risk
o Risk analytics
* Proven experience working in areas such as practice/model development, validation, change management, project management or compliance
* Strong track record of Risk / Compliance process design, re-engineering, risk transformation
* Understanding of relevant regulatory requirements including AUS/NZ regulations and global directives such as Basel III, BCB 239, SFC rules, AML, would be highly desirable
* People management skills, with proven experience leading teams
* Successful track record, offering impeccable service delivery
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, ideally using MS suite - particularly PowerPoint
* Bachelor's Degree
