DART Program Finance ManagerWe are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to support a large-scale Data and Regulatory Transformation (DART) Program within the public sector. This role will play a key part in financial management, performance monitoring, and strategic financial planning, ensuring compliance with government policies and procedures.Key Responsibilities:Provide financial management support across the DART program, including performance monitoring and reporting in line with policies and procedures.Coordinate internal budget preparation (capital and operating), financial performance analysis, and reporting.Manage and analyse financial data, business activity, and performance indicators to deliver high-quality reports and accurate forecasts.Offer expert advice on internal budget policies and financial matters to program stakeholders.Evaluate financial data to ensure accuracy in reports and systems.Identify and advise on key financial risks and opportunities within the program.Maintain a strong understanding of the Australian Government's financial framework, accrual accounting principles, and relevant accounting standards.Utilise life cycle cost estimation methods, risk analysis, and financial forecasting for capital and operating budgets.Develop and maintain collaborative finance business partnerships, providing strategic financial insights and risk assessments.Present complex financial data clearly to diverse audiences to support decision-making.Essential RequirementsRelevant tertiary qualifications in accounting, commerce, or equivalent are essential.Professional certification/membership of a relevant professional association such as Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) is essential.
