Together we do what matters What You'll Do: As an Avanade ERP Technical Architect, you are considered a solution specialist and have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations Application. You will be client-facing and responsible for the collection and definition of technical solution requirements through to the implementation and deployment of the solution. Key responsibilities include: - Define and evaluate the non-functional/technical requirements - Collaborate on the creation of application requirements and fit/gap analysis - Write technical specifications ensuring functional and technical requirements are well defined - Work with functional resources to deliver in integration design and estimates - Document the system extensions, integrations and prepare project documentation deliverables - Support key-users in system integration acceptance testing - Collaborate with client technical resources around the definition and implementation of system integrations - Collaborate with our offshore development teams to ensure successful implementation of your technical designs, ensuring adherence to Avanade development best practices - Management of multiple cloud instances of Dynamics including initial deployment, code releases and database copies, ensuring clear communication to stakeholders - Code release management, ensuring successful build and deployment to relevant environments with appropriate release notes - Assist Pre-Sales engagements, meeting tight timelines - Travel as needed based on project demands Skills and Experiences: - Deep technical knowledge of Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations and/or Dynamics AX - Developing extensions/customisations for Dynamics 365 F&O - Experience in the design and implementation of system integration to Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations or Dynamics AX Ideally gained on Microsoft Azure Integration Architecture with Logic Apps - Strong technical requirements gathering skills with demonstrable experience - Other common Dynamics 365 competencies include ability to custom data entities and syncing techniques - Familiarity with security framework including ability to create new security policies - Creating custom workflow business processes - Understanding the integration options and underlying technologies available - Using Azure DevOps (or JIRA when required), test case planning and acceptance testing framework including release management - Client management skills and the ability to work with clients to develop and manage an action plan - Implementation experience across multiple industry sectors - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Certifications: MB-300: Microsoft D365 Unified Operations Core and/or MB-500 Microsoft D365 F&O Apps Developer (preferred) About You You are excited about working with a global technology leader to solve business-critical problems for some of the top companies in the world.
