The Role As the School Psychologist you will be part of a team, counselling adolescent students at Caulfield Grammar's Wheeler's Hill Senior Campus. In this role you will build strong professional relationships with key stakeholders to support the delivery of counselling services and liaise with staff, students, parents and at times, some external professionals. In addition to this, you may also be managing educational, social, behavioural and emotional difficulties and perform educational assessments. We have 2 permanent positions available, with both full time and part time working arrangements considered. Both roles are working term time only which will allow the successful candidates a break during the school holidays. Key Responsibilities: Apply your expertise to support the psychological, social and emotional wellbeing of students. Provide counselling support to students including undertaking risk assessments as required. Provide small-group interventions as required. Provide crisis response and be involved in critical incident management. Be actively involved in the school's pastoral care and personal development program. Ensure administration and record keeping is maintained to a high standard. Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours. Selection Criteria: Demonstrated experience as a psychologist working with adolescents, ideally within a school-based environment. Confirmed registration with AHPRA, along with any relevant qualifications. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written and the ability to develop appropriate relationships with staff, students and parents. The capacity to work independently and as a member of a team. Adherence to the Australian Psychological Society Codes of Ethics. Employment Working With Children Check.
