We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our Agriculture Division at Brown and Hurley. With nine branches located across Queensland, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations, including strategic planning, business development, financial management, and team leadership. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing and dynamic industry. This role can be based at any of these Ag branch locations; Mackay, Cairns, or Tolga, or at our Townsville Truck branch. Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and profitability within our Agriculture Division. Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to quality standards. Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand market share. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and industry partners. Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory developments, and adjust strategies accordingly. Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Proven experience in a senior management role within the agricultural machinery industry, with a track record of success in driving business growth and profitability. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals. Excellent strategic planning and decision-making abilities, with a deep understanding of market dynamics and competitive landscape. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels. Solid financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and performance management.
