Business Support Officer Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to support the day-to-day activities of our office. The successful candidate will work closely with our Business Manager, Office Manager, Operations Manager, project personnel, office staff, and trade staff to ensure efficient and effective business management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with accounts payable, receivable, and payroll processing.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and contractors regarding invoices, payments, and other business matters.
• Prepare financial reports for management, including invoice processing, payment management, record keeping, vendor communication, and compliance.
• Provide administrative support to the management team as needed.
• Ensure systems are up-to-date and compliant with legislation.
• Assist in managing training profiles and competencies.
Requirements:
• Significant experience in financial administration and accounts payable in a complex organization.
• 5 years' experience in a similar role.
• Tertiary qualification in Business or Accounting (desired).
• Strong bookkeeping skills, including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliation with MYOB experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively with excellent time management skills and self-motivation.
