Overview
You will be responsible for the provision of a high quality, confidential, customer-focused administrative service to clients, staff and visitors of the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network in Gumeracha and Mount Pleasant. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will respond to incoming telephone calls and provide accurate information to telephone queries. You will also attend to visitors in the reception area in a professional manner and ensure they are directed appropriately. Along with coordinating the booking of appointments for services, you will maintain administrative records and information systems, and provide timely word processing, desktop publishing and data entry operations. You will bring prior experience in providing a comprehensive and efficient range of administrative and clerical support services and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs. You will also be confident in determining priorities, organising work and commitments, and meeting pre-determined deadlines. A team player with a flexible approach, you must have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with a wide range of clients, members of the community, health service staff and staff from other agencies. Your excellent customer service skills will equip you to relate to people with diverse value systems, cultural differences and special needs.
Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
