About the Role:We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will oversee large-scale development and construction projects, managing everything from planning to execution.
You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of projects on time, within scope, and on budget, while coordinating with key stakeholders and ensuring compliance with authority standards.
Key Accountabilities: Manage Project Deliverables: Lead the successful completion of all project phases from inception through to final handover.Procure Consultants: Engage and manage key consultants (civil, roads, infrastructure, etc.)
to meet project needs.Manage Design Team: Oversee the design team, ensuring that project specifications are met.Project Planning & Control: Provide detailed project planning and ensure proper project control processes are implemented.Issue Management: Record and escalate project issues as necessary (e.g., unexpected variables).Milestone Management: Ensure that project milestones are met and stakeholders meet their requirements to achieve the agreed scope.High-Level Coordination: Attend and chair key project coordination meetings with stakeholders to ensure alignment and success.Scope Management: Oversee and manage the ongoing scope throughout the project lifecycle.Regulatory Approvals: Follow through the process from Development Application approval to Occupation Certification & strata registration with LRS.Authority Approvals: Manage authority approvals with relevant agencies (e.g., Ausgrid, Sydney Water, Council, Office of Water).Budget Control: Monitor project budgets and implement cost-reduction strategies throughout the construction phase.Project Delivery: Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and meet all key performance indicators.Responsibilities: Agreeing on and managing project scope with stakeholders.Representing the organization's interests in all aspects of the project.Ensuring compliance with relevant authority standards and regulations.Providing expert advice on project management processes and decisions.Organizing the activities of various stakeholders working on the project.Conducting ongoing risk assessments and mitigating project risks.Ensuring all project quality standards and objectives are met.Procuring and managing consultants to ensure adherence to guidelines.Ensuring critical project milestones (e.g., CC, OC, subdivision registrations) are met.Skills & Experience: 7+ years of experience in project management within large-scale construction.Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.Deep understanding of the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards.Strong communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders and resolve problems effectively.Why Join Us?
