They are seeking to appoint an experienced Medical Receptionist/Secretary to join their team on a permanent, part-time basis working 3 days a week. The days would specifically be Monday and Friday (non-negotiable) and the 3rd day being flexible with what works best for the right candidate and the team.This position would suit a seasoned Medical Receptionist/Secretary who has proven skills working within a similar environment.Key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):Meet and greet of patients visiting the practiceTaking all incoming telephone calls and assisting patients with general enquiriesResponding to all email correspondence in an appropriate time framePreparing and running patient clinics, including patient appointment bookings, data entry of patient details into Health track, reviewing upcoming clinics and ensuring all patient records are in order before the day of clinic, appointment reminders, attending to patient emails and handling all telephone enquiriesProcessing of all patient billing/receipting for consultationsProviding general administration support to the wider teamIn addition to the key duties and responsibilities, Candidates must be able to demonstrate:A strong desire to provide a high level of service to the patients of the practiceImmaculate personal presentationAn exemplary telephone manner and a compassionate demeanourAt least 2 years previous experience in a similar positionMust be a team player with exceptional communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrate you are proactive with strong time management and organisational skills along with the ability to prioritise your workload efficiently.Must be able to multi-skill and work under pressureHigh level of competency in Microsoft Word and OutlookPrevious experience using Health track software is highly desirable; however, training will be providedA training and induction program will be provided for the right candidate.
