What we’re looking for:
* Completed or about to complete a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Project Engineering, or related field
* Resilience, maturity, and a sense of accountability
* Demonstrated ability to manage competing time priorities successfully
* A positive, inquisitive nature with the drive to exceed expectations
The Role
* In the first year of the program, you will work collaboratively with Adbri’s experienced engineers and operational leaders supporting our concrete division on meaningful and scaled projects:
* Working within the laboratories to understand and review the product mix designs, new low-carbon cement, and field testing.
* Within concrete, this will focus on learning the operations of concrete batching plants.
* Safety – having a passionate safety mindset will allow you to exceed with different reviews of safety and environment projects.
* In the second year, you will lead a range of engineering projects with the support of business and technical experts.
* Infrastructure projects through our plants, the opportunity to cross over with customers, sales, and technical teams.
* Based at a Quarry and working closely with the senior managers, you will work on Plant Upgrades, be involved with Project Management, and plant system upgrades.
* As part of our commitment to a greener future, you will support our Net Zero roadmap through projects designed to reduce concrete waste, diesel, power, and water reuse across our quarries in Queensland.
* Over the 2-year program and beyond, you will have full exposure to our national Concrete and Aggregates team, with the unique opportunity to work closely with the company divisions such as Sales, Investigations, Safety, Sustainability, and Corporate Teams.
