Coordinator Roads and Systems
A leadership role where you will oversee Council's road assets and Integrated Asset Management System.

Key Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with Council's Road Management Plan by managing programmed defect inspections for Council's road assets.
* Lead the development and update of the Road Asset Management Plan.
* Chair the road community of practice group, made up of internal stakeholders.
* Work with subject matter experts to ensure asset registers are kept up to date within Council's Asset Management System.
* Lead the capitalisation process in conjunction with Finance and other member of the Asset Management team.
* Manage Council's Integrated Asset Management System to provide consistent asset data sources.
* Investigate the use of a mobile solution for maintenance works.
* Complete a review of Council's bridge asset management and develop a Bridge Asset Management Strategy.
* Manage the asset management and related engineering consultancy services panel.
* Provide technical and strategic advice into various procedural processes such as road discontinuances, National Heavy Vehicle Register applications etc.
* Program proactive and reactive roads programs with Project Control to ensure road infrastructure quality standards are maintained.
Requirements
* Demonstrated ability to develop and implement policies, strategies, reports and operational plans.
* Extensive experience in the strategic management of road infrastructure and the documentation of Asset Management Plans related to road infrastructure.
* Sound knowledge of Road Management Act, Local Government Act, NAMAF and legislation relevant to utility service authorities.
* Significant experience in a senior leadership role, supervising and coordinating technical staff.
* Highly developed investigative engineering skills and strategic asset planning.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Familiarity or experience with ISO 55001 requirements would be highly regarded.
What We Offer
An annual salary range of $98,713 - $109,639 per annum + 10% superannuation and a monthly day off arrangement. Open to part time of four days per week upon negotiation.
