Join our team as a Marketing and Administration Assistant
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing and Administration Assistant to join our Development and Community Relations department. This role is essential for ensuring the effective coordination of departmental activities and enhancing our marketing efforts through precise data management and analysis. In this position, you will facilitate the smooth operation of the department by undertaking daily administrative tasks, supporting various marketing initiatives, and maintaining the integrity of our donor database. Your responsibilities will include managing essential communications, assisting in the execution of campaigns, and providing valuable insights through data analysis. By optimising our outreach and engagement strategies, you will play a vital role in strengthening our connections with the community and making a meaningful impact on our fundraising efforts. Your contributions will help us achieve our goals and support the mission of Abbotsleigh and educating girls.
What We’re Looking For:
* Communication skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities for effective team collaboration and community engagement.
* Analytical skills: Advanced Excel skills and a talent for fundraising and marketing analytics to drive informed decision-making.
* Organisational flair: A high level of organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Marketing savvy: A foundational understanding of marketing activities and competency with social media platforms.
* Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to navigate challenges effectively.
* Creativity: Strong writing and copy-editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Your Background:
* Experience: 1-3 years in marketing or a related field, with a proven track record of successful contributions. Experience in data analytics with the ability to create data sets and reports.
* Education: An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field is a plus.
* Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
