About the role Women's Legal Centre is looking for a lawyer to provide family law and family violence advice and casework as part of an integrated, multidisciplinary, trauma informed team.Tasks & responsibilities Deliver high quality legal advice and casework to clients in family law matters, including representation in ACT Courts and Tribunals.Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to provide responsive, trauma-informed services.Build relationships with staff at partner organisations, including by delivering community legal education.Qualifications & experience Eligible to practice in the ACT, with at least 2 years post admission experience in family law.Candidates with experience in property settlement matters will be preferred and are encouraged to apply.Benefits Competitive salary plus salary packaging benefitsAdditional paid end of year leaveHealth and Wellbeing allowanceAbout the Centre WLC is a community legal centre specialising in family law, migration, employment, discrimination and sexual harassment and sexual violence.
