Varied Caseload.We are recruiting for a Behaviour Support Practitioner to work for a growing organisation with an excellent reputation covering the Inner City, Eastern Suburbs area (we also have roles available covering other geographical area's). This organisation has over 30 years’ experience, providing services across the age ranges, from Paediatrics to older people. This role would be a generalist position, carrying a varied caseload. Details of the role: Essential to have registration with the NDIS as a Behaviour Support Practitioner (flexible on level) Salary ranging from $80-120k – dependent on experience Cover the Inner City, Eastern Suburbs area Full Time, Permanent role (4 days per week also available) Manageable caseload with support and training Work closely with the rest of the Behaviour Support Team, as well as other allied health practitioners Generous vehicle allowance and the opportunity to earn bonuses if you wish to work extra hours About the organisationThis organisation has been providing services for over 30 years across the Greater Sydney area. They take pride in their work and have a supportive work culture with training and development opportunities. You will have freedom to manage your day and calendar whilst carrying a varied caseload Duties: Managing roughly 25-40 ongoing cases which change depending on hours allocated to each participant – roughly 25 billable hour per week. Work with participants and people experience emotion regulation issues – possibly aggressive behaviour, trouble socialising with others, people with autism, intellectual disability, ADHD, trauma, physical disabilities, stroke and other mental health issues Assist people with communication and skills development Work at schools, nursing homes, homes, disability housing Plan, deliver and evaluate psychosocial services to NDIS participants which help them achieve their NDIS goals. Support NDIS participants’ inclusion and participation in the community Provide services and supports in collaboration with key stakeholders Demonstrate an understanding and ability to provide services and supports within the parameters of the participant’s available NDIS funding Participate in regular professional development opportunities to keep up with current developments Fulfil administrative requirements such as data collection and note taking When assigned, supervise and train assistants, volunteers and students, ensuring the maintenance of professional, clinical, ethical and safety standards Requirements: Bachelor of psychology / Social Work / rehab counselling / social sciences or other related health / disability studies, or other previous experience working as a Behaviour Support Clinician Ideally experience working within the NDIS and someone with good report writing skills Registration with the NDIS as a Behaviour Support Practitioner On Offer: A company that prides itself on a positive work culture, within a supportive team environment with other highly experienced practitioners Salary ranging from $80-120k, plus super, depending on experience Generous car allowance Opportunity to earn bonuses if you wish to work additional hours Should you have any questions, please get in touch with Julian on 02 9096 2791 or email: julian@thejobseekeragency.com
