A leading global investment bank seeks an experienced Equity Derivatives Sales professional at the Associate Director level in their Sydney office.
The successful candidate will market and sell Flow and Solutions products to Institutional and Distribution clients.
Responsibilities:
* To manage existing relationships with Structured Product Distributors in Australia, unlocking additional business with new distributors.
* To assist in managing and developing our Equity Derivative flow business among Australian clients, delivering market intelligence, economist content, and trade ideas, focusing on the Institutional space.
* To assist in managing and developing our Cross-Asset class Solutions business across both Distribution and Institutional client bases, gaining a deep understanding of the local market, regulatory, and operational landscape.
* To contribute actively to product and solutions development for the above client base, collaborating with Structuring, Trading, and Research teams to provide customized cross-asset solutions and create relevant product offerings.
* To strengthen our position and visibility with Institutional clients in Australia, unlocking new revenue streams with a focus on asset owners and asset managers.
* To grow Equity Derivatives revenue in Australia and New Zealand in line with targets.
* Leverage and manage relationships with Business Partners and key stakeholders to expand the Client Franchise and maximize Global Markets business in Australia.
* To contribute to the Permanent Control framework and ensure proper control over various risk aspects.
Experience Required:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience marketing financial products to institutional investors.
* A track record of managing a portfolio of clients and achieving sales budgets.
* Knowledge and understanding of derivative products across different asset classes, including equity.
* University Graduate Degree.
