An exciting opportunity for a Sales & Operations Manager (SOM) at Bay Audio, QLD Sunshine Coast Area to lead the way in our strategic approach within our Sales Department.

About the role
The primary responsibility of this key role is to effectively lead and manage store operations and each store team throughout the nominated area(s), to maximise revenue, profitability and overall business efficiencies that support the companys strategic objectives.
Location: QLD, Sunshine Coast Area
The responsibilities include the below and more:
Operational Leadership
1. Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring on the day to day operations of the retail and Clinical teams within the area
2. Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the Retail and Clinical teams, through the successful implementation of Bay Audio Policies and Procedures
3. Enhance and support the communication between NSO, (National Support Office), store and Clinical teams to drive efficiency and productivity improvement within the operations team
4. Drive lead generation and revenue to exceed budgets and targets on a consistent basis
5. Lead, manage and coach the Clinical teams and Store Managers on a daily / weekly basis during store visits and other communications
6. Provide information on key business issues to the relevant stakeholder on operational and people management issues
7. Ensure people management processes are in place, understood and used effectively
8. Ensure that the store teams understand and can effectively manage the Clinical schedule for maximum productivity to drive revenue
9. Responsible for reviewing and authorising all expense claim forms for the team
Team Management
10. Manage the recruitment of Clinical, MSO and retail team members with emphasise on selecting the right team required through effective interview processes
11. Ensure all new team members are correctly on-boarded into the business, along with correct timetabling for training and follow-up in all stores
12. Ensure all employment gateways are adhered to including; Day one/week one, first month / six month probation reviews
13. Develop and evolve area people plan, scoping opportunities for growth and future vacancies
14. Forecast recruitment needs on a store by store basis working with NSO Recruitment partner
15. Ensure the Employee Assessment and Development process is followed
16. Coordinate training and development programs to develop skills and competencies to achieve business goals
Other
17. Develop and enhance effective rostering and management of daily, weekly and monthly rosters
We are looking for a leader!
You will have:
18. Minimum 5 years in a Senior Store Management role or Multi-site equivalent
19. Extensive retail and or sales management experience and knowledge
20. Practical and effective experience in people leadership and management
21. Demonstrated effectiveness in contributing to an organisations achievements
22. Strong and proven ability to motivate and lead large teams
23. Drivers licence
24. Preferably, you will be located in / around Sunshine Coast
