As a Automation Test Engineer, you will be responsible for executing software quality control strategies, overseeing comprehensive testing, and ensuring high-quality products. This involves designing effective tests, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to achieve reliable solutions and meet user needs.How will you make an impact? Defining and implementing quality control strategies to ensure software quality throughout the development life cycle.Planning, designing, and executing functional, performance, and security tests to identify defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.Developing, maintaining, and executing automated test suites, including functional, regression, and performance tests.Conducting manual testing when necessary, identifying defects and ensuring thorough test coverage.Identifying and documenting defects, collaborating with teams to resolve them, and ensuring continuous improvement of the product.Participating in design and code reviews, advocating for best practices in quality assurance.Continuously improving testing processes and methodologies, contributing to process enhancement initiatives.Have you got what it takes? Preferably Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.3 – 6 years of experience in software development.Proven track record of designing and executing test strategies for complex software projects.Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools (e.g. JUnit, Cypress).Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, testing levels (unit, integration regression, etc.).Experience with version control systems and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.You will have an advantage if you also have:Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.Skill in collaborating with development teams, designers, and other departments to ensure tests align with business objectives.What's in it for you?
