It is a permanent full-time or part-time position. ABOUT THE ROLE As a member of the medical team, you will be responsible for the following: Assessing, planning, and coordinating the care delivery needs of the patients with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse, and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality service is provided to the patients; Delivering education and support to patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs; Leading successful quality improvement and safety management projects to deliver desired outcomes; Working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs; Acting as a role model for Safe Practice; REQUIREMENTS Current registration with AHPRA; At least 2 years of experience in an acute health care setting; Recent experience in a medical ward; Ability to work a rotating roster; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required.
