The Opportunity:
My client is a successful and thriving National Transport provider based within the Western Suburbs of Melbourne.
Due to growth, my client is offering an opportunity to learn from the best and become a valuable part of the team. Learning from the ground up you will become proficient at scheduling, dispatch, operations, administration and customer service. Communicating at all levels you will demonstrate your problem solving abilities, analytical thinking, patience, determination and attention to detail on a daily basis
This position is ideal for a person who thrives on challenge, enjoys working in a fast paced environment and is looking for a long term career within the Transport space.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
* High volume calls
* Liaising with gatehouse and warehouse staff
* Following up on deliveries
* Attending to customer enquiries
* Data entry – alpha-numeric
* Office All-rounder
* Processing and tracking of orders
* Filing, scanning & copying
* Maintain and develop professional relationships with all external suppliers/customers
* Taking orders & processing invoices from suppliers and customers
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Previous customer service experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* The ability to be organised and a great communicator
* A friendly and proactive approach to the company that you are representing
* The ability to work within a team environment
* Computer savvy
